Committee Chair's Welcome

Dear Parents' Weekend Participant:

We look forward to seeing you at check-in on Friday, October 12th in Krentzman Lounge, located on the 2nd floor of the Oglesby Union above Chili's.

CHECK-IN AND REGISTRATION

Upon Arrival, please check in to pick up your registration packet. This packet includes your meal tickets and other materials of interest. Check-in location and times are as follows:

• Krentzman Lounge at the Oglesby Union - Friday, October 12, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

If you plan to attend Saturday events only, the Fun Rate late registration and shirts can be picked up Saturday at the on-site registration table by the Integration Statues at 7:00 a.m. If you are attending only the Tailgate Brunch Buffet you may pick up your registration packet and tickets at the Tailgate Brunch site (Union Green) on Saturday.

PARKING

Beginning Friday, October 12, visitors may park in any student (designated by white lines) or open-gated faculty (designated by red lines) parking areas, including our six (6) garages, at no cost. You can also park in metered parking on campus without having to feed the meter. Parking areas can be found on our campus map at http://union.fsu.edu/pw/parking-transportation. Note: All other marked areas/spaces (i.e. reserved, handicap, loading zones) will be enforced. If you arrive prior to or stay past the weekend, you may park in the Visitor lot, located in the southeast corner of the University Center or contact Transportation Services for a parking permit. IMPORTANT: Starting at 10:00pm on Friday, October 12th, all vehicles must adhere to the Seminole Booster's game day parking procedures. Vehicles located in the lots surrounding the stadium must be moved as shown on the map at http://union.fsu.edu/pw/parking-transportation. All vehicles in these lots after that time will be towed at the owner's expense.

RAIN PLANS

In the event of rain on Friday afternoon, all events occur as scheduled. On Saturday morning, the Fun Run will be canceled only in the event of severe weather (heavy rain and/or thunder and lightning).

ATTIRE

Dress comfortably, we promote this special weekend as casual, so be comfortable and enjoy yourself at all functions.

If accommodations for a disability are needed, please call (850) 644-6865 at least seven days prior to the event.

Upon check in you will receive a Parents' Weekend Program Schedule, which will include the weekend's schedule of events, and much more.

Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to parentsweekend@admin.fsu.edu no later than October 3, 2012.
